Entering MIT (not that one)
Things didn’t go as well as i would like in Softtek. The company was good, the people was good. But I just hated the project I was assigned to. I simply could not stand it. It was boring, tedious and I wasn’t going to learn anything useful.
By fortune a good oportunity showed up in another company named MIT. You probably haven’t hear of it. It is a small company that provides finantial services , like credit/debit card payments with those little funny wireless gizmos that they use at restaurants, to many companies in Mexico.
My job there is very different. I will be creating software as well as mantaining some old systems the have (that they wish to remake). The great thing is that they also want me to help them formalize the development process (they have a mess), so I’ll be busy for quite some time.
I’m very exited about this. Of course being in a small company have its drawbacks, but it also give me a few good oportunities like growing with the company or having a voice in many decisions the company must make. They retribution (a.k.a. Bling Bling) is almost identically (for the good).
Please, if anyone (I mean it, anyone) is reading this, please wish me luck.
